As downloads of music reach a tipping point in the UK (over 50% of all sales now), here are two more free to listen to samples of upcoming material :  I know one of the arguments for cassette taping back in the 70s and 80s was that a lot of people who did it would eventually upgrade to vinyl when they had the money, the others would never have bought it in the first place.  I wonder if this still holds true in the digital age?  Thanks to Lee Worrall and Tim Summers

Ex-Whitesnake axe man Adrian Vendenberg‘s new band Moonkings also have their debut album ready, and they boasts David Coverdale on a cover of Sailing Ships.  The whole album is online at the Classic Rock website.

Dean Howard, who worked with Ian Gillan (and supported Purple a few tours back) has a new group and album out (but no DP related guests). You can hear four tracks on Soundcloud and see what you reckon, but for my money Into The Wild is a great track.
