Rainbow New Jersey 1979 advert Scorpions

Rainbow with new singer Graham Bonnet in 1979 began touring in America, with shows spread from October to December, some support, some headline. This flyer is for one of the headliners, with Scorpions support. The show was filmed but is as yet unreleased officially. Set-list for this show:

Eyes of the World – Love’s no Friend – Maybe Next Time – All Night Long – Lost In Hollywood (with guitar, keyboard and drum solos) –
Lazy (short) – Man on the Silver Mountain –  Blues – Long Live Rock and Roll – Kill The King (jam) – Long Live Rock and Roll (Reprise)

The show the night before was broadcast on US radio.

    “Maybe Next Time” is actually an extended Blackmore intro to “All Night Long” featuring bits of the Brandenberg concerto and “Over The Rainbow”
