  1. Dave Ridley Says:

Do we know who is supporting Purple yet on uk dates? I noticed Govt Mule on some euro dates, would love that!

  2. Dashem Says:

Roger Glover in the latest Bass Player magazine (a cover story, no less!) said that Purple would be in the US “early next year.”

  3. oleg Says:

Hope to see DP in Israel soon !

    Oleg

  4. Hilaire Says:

Well, I’ll see them tonight at the “Lokerse Feesten”, DP start around 23.45 CET. No other Belgian dates planned ? Sad…

  5. Jack Says:

Deep Purple on tour… what about Mexico? I’ve seen them twice is Guadalajara and they kicked ass! Great gigs, I’m waiting to see them again. Please confirm if they´re coming to Mexico.

  6. marcin Says:

Just a correction for the Bonn info – Nick Fyffe is a former Jamiroquai bass player. By the way, there’s another Jamiroquai connection in the Purple family tree – Don used their axeman on A Light in the Sky and the subsequent European minitour.

    • simon robinson Says:

Thanks Marcin, the story was corrected – I was getting my Fyffes muddled up (but at least I didn’t suggest he was a banana).

  7. Eileen Sykes Says:

I would like to second or third or fourth the motion to come to the U.S!

  8. bob Says:

    What happen to US tours?

  9. Christopher Crusan Says:

USA is way over due… 6 years and counting

  10. Mauro Says:

    Rapazes…e o Brasil ?!?!?! Aguardamos vocês….c´mon!!!

  11. Terry mcnestry Says:

Yet again no gig in Newcastle upon Tyne !!!

  12. JMcE Says:

#19 in the U.K. charts Simon – ‘A Simple Song’, ‘Weirdistan’, ‘Out Of Hand’, ‘Above And Beyond’, ‘Uncommon Man’, ‘All The Time In The World’, and the gloriously OTT ‘Vincent Price’ (and ‘Hell To Pay’ as encore) – should I book our flights?!

    • simon robinson Says:

It would be great for them to do a tour based on the newer material. Even if they had to print a disclaimer on the posters and tickets for people who can’t handle anything new. I certainly remember the Purpendicular tour going down well.

  13. Notis Says:

We are waiting for Deep Purple to come to Hellas (Greece) on the tour.
    Still no plans?

  14. Ricardo Says:

Would Falkland be part of of UK tour or what ? Still, despite local efforts, nothing from management…let me see Cape Horn promoters…damn.

    • simon robinson Says:

I was thinking the band might shake the tin town hall apart but then the place has had louder (just reread the Vulcan raid book!).

  15. JMcE Says:

Just one (!) song from the new CD – is that it?! Had planned on booking flights/hotel and buying tickets for Manchester but, in my case, set list saturation point has been met/surpassed so, unless there are three or four new songs (inc. the marvelously OTT Vincent Price!). If it’s just the same old, same old, as the Dragons of the Den say, ‘I’m out’!

    • simon robinson Says:

Hopefully the good reaction to the new album will give them some confidence to put more in when the proper tour starts.

  16. john Says:

We are waiting for deep purple to come to Japan tour.
    Still no plan ?

  17. Harry Heathman III Says:

Looks like no shows this year for the US

  18. Hans Jakob Says:

When do they come to Tvedestrand??;)

  19. riana rana Says:

When is Deep Purple coming to Kathmandu, Nepal?!

  20. Stein Ebeltoft Says:

I can’t see any Norway dates on this tour. I’m very disappointed.

  21. Richard Jill Rae Says:

Once again (third time in 6 years) a pitiful UK tour from an English band. I like lots have followed this band since 1970 but feel very let down again! Come on guys. A proper tour for your oldest, longest running, fans! Please.

    • n jones , nuneaton Says:

I agree Richard. I`ve thought for many years they neglect these home shores. Then its just the same old soul-less exhibition halls. Only those Purpindicular dates have made different venues and they were the best shows since the reunion. Disappointing really because Ian Gillan as a solo artist would play all over the UK at one time. The band has just become a global money-making machine now churning out the same old set-list again and again.

  22. JMcE Says:

    SM!LE chaps!

    • simon robinson Says:

Only for the super ‘tour edition’ release three months after we’ve all bought this one!

  23. Christophe Colussa Says:

  25. Francesco Says:

E prevista una data in Svizzera?

  26. Alejandro Says:

Cuàndo vuelven a Buenos Aires, Argentina ???

  27. Arie van den Heuvel Says:

Show in Holland, Zwolle, IJsselhallen: 19 october 2013

  28. Gabriel Says:

En principio se anunció Buenos Aires para noviembre de 2013 pero aun no se confirmó.

  29. Rick Freeman Says:

They, hopefully, will add dates to here in the USA. It would be nice! Anyone notice they seem to have stopped touring Japan? I always assumed they did great there.

  30. Dero Says:

Really enjoyed Auckland gig last night. The boys played most songs from early albums. Some you would not have expected like “No One Came” from Fireball. Great night and ex. to see the guys enjoy themselves doing what they are best at. Thanks guys for the entertainment over many, many years.

  31. oleg Says:

    Waiting for Tel Aviv date..

  32. Manfred Frey Says:

Es fehlt der 30. April 2013 da tritt Deep Purple in Ischgl in Österreich auf

My partner bought the tickets – 9th row center…..

  39. Dero Says:

Fantastic the boys are coming back to NZ. Looking forward to the gig. !!!

  40. David Ridley Says:

uk band but again no uk dates!!

  41. Alex Says:

If they could come to Romania this year it would be a dream come true for me! It’s been almost 6 years since their last visit

  42. Phil Says:

In days gone by they surely could have squeezed HK in between Dubai and Auckland. Bloody pensioners…!

    • simon robinson Says:

I fear the days of six shows back to back as in 1970 are long gone Phil. And that’s just as a spectator…

  43. Raj Says:

Wanted clarity if Deep Purple are coming to Delhi on 17th Feb?

  44. rudy Says:

Purple play 12th of March in Singapore and I guess more dates around that one for far east Asia will follow

  45. Chip Tarbutton Says:

There is a gap in Mid March through Mid May. That is enough for a quick US tour or a more extensive UK tour

  46. andrew Says:

the worlds number one tribute band rolls on and on

  47. Cat Heter Says:

any info on whether Deep Purple will make any 2013 appearances in the U.S.?
