Hard to believe that in the next few years there will not be many new shows listed for the Deep Purple family of bands. The 70’s are starting to get so far away, my memories of those vaulted years are beginning to cloud. Thanks for a great web site.

Hi Simon. You’ve missed a very important date! A certain Ian Paice playing with Purpendicular at Butlins Minehead Giants Of Rock 27-29 January 2017. I’ll be there as usual and have nudged Bernie Marsden to see if he’ll get Paicey on board for a couple of ‘Snake numbers. Torme is there too (Bernie, not Mel!). By the way, I caught Bernie M at Milton Keynes on 30/11. Thoroughly recommend him if he’s ever round your way. Worth the money just for the humour and Coverdale anecdotes! Toodle pip.
