Nov 23 – Set list spoilers! From the three recent shows in France. “Three fantastic shows ! With Ian Gillan on good form, (he) sang high notes quite easily. Paice was really amazing with a powerful drumming (especially on Smoke On The Water, and on his WONDERFUL drum solo in The Mule). I was disappointed not to hear any songs from Rapture of the Deep or songs from the new album but the guys really impressed me this time. They are really nice people, it was cool to speak with them after the Caen and Paris concerts.”  Thanks to Adrien P. Rouyer

  1. Robert Banaszkiewicz Says:

I love Purple with all my heart, so this show will be great.
Strangely though, I’ve only started listening to Uriah Heep in the last months.
After hearing that they practiced next door to each other at the Hanwell C.C. I thought I’d have a listen to see who may have stolen what from whom?
Apart from Heeps keyboard player pinching sounds from Lord, they did try their own thing, although their drive and confidence may well have been enhanced by listening to the Great Ones.

  2. Roberto Says:

Great Gig…Hope this summer they will bring in Italy a real support band…adding Nazareth to Uriah Heep would be a dreaming show…
